Creating an account
There are two kinds of accounts:

| A company or a law enforcement agency that wants to post jobs or recruit | Employer account (agencies turn on an agency profile afterwards) | Create an employer account |
Officers give their name, email, a password, their status (current, former, retired…), agency and state. Your officer profile is never public and employers can't browse or search officers. After signing up, confirm your email and then verify your status to unlock full listings and applying.
Employers and agencies give a work email, company or agency name and a password. Agencies then open Dashboard → Agency profile to build a recruiting page; see Agency verification.
Tips:
- Use a password manager and a long passphrase. We store only a salted hash of your password.
- One person, one officer account. Duplicate accounts are removed.
- You must be at least the minimum age in our Terms.
