Referrals and invite links

Who gets a link. Every verified officer gets a personal invite link and code at Invite officers (in the app: Profile → Invite officers, with a share button). Employers with a confirmed account email can invite other employers from their dashboard.

When an invite counts. Only when the person you invited finishes the normal verification: officers pass officer verification; employers earn a Verified Employer or Verified Agency badge. Invites never count for unverified accounts, your own accounts, or sign-ups that look like the same person.

What you see. Invites sent, link opens, joined and verified. For each person you see their initials only, unless they ticked "let the person who invited me see my name" when signing up.

Thank-you rewards (officers). For each verified officer you invite, pick one: - Bonus AI mock interviews (2 by default): full-feedback practice interviews you can start even after reaching the daily limit. - Search boost (30 days by default): if you've opted in to being visible to employers, employers searching for officers see you earlier. Your card is labeled "Boosted · referral reward" so nobody is misled; it says nothing about qualifications. Boosts stack up to 90 days. Rewards are capped (5 a year by default). There are no cash or human-coaching rewards.

Fraud checks. Sign-ups from the same device or network as the person who invited them, look-alike email addresses, or bursts of sign-ups are held for a human review. Rejected referrals never count. Network and device details are stored only as one-way scrambled values.

Turning it off. You can turn referrals off at any time; your link stops working. Your referral data is in Download my data and is deleted with your account (people you invited then just see nothing; you no longer see them).

Agency referral bonuses on job posts. Some agencies pay their own employees for referring a hire. Agencies can show that on a job post. It's paid by the agency under its own rules; SecondWatch only displays it and never handles that money.
