Officer verification: instant with GovX ID

Full job details and applying are for verified law enforcement officers. The fastest way is GovX ID:

  1. Log in and open Verify your status.
  2. Choose Verify with GovX ID. You'll sign in (or create an account) on GovX's own site.
  3. GovX tells us only your name and your verification status (for example "Police: current"). If GovX has verified you as law enforcement and the name matches your account, you're verified immediately.

What we keep: the result, the occupation category and the date, plus a one-way hash of your GovX user id (to stop one GovX identity verifying many accounts). We never see or store your GovX password or access tokens. See the Privacy Policy.

It didn't work?

  • Name doesn't match: your request goes to a person for review. No action needed.
  • GovX says pending or not verified: finish verification with GovX, or upload a document instead.
  • Military police: GovX doesn't verify MP service; upload a DD-214 instead.
  • Other errors: the page shows a message and sometimes a Reference (E-…). Contact support and include it.
