Why is my job post in review or flagged?
Every direct job post is checked automatically before it's published:
- Wording that may discourage protected groups (for example age or gender preferences, "young", "recent graduate", "he/she must") is flagged and a moderator reviews it. The check only routes the post to a human; it never rejects a post by itself.
- Pay range: some states and cities require a pay range. If your job is in one of them (or remote), you'll be asked for minimum/maximum pay.
- Posting Guidelines: see the Posting Guidelines for what's allowed.
What to do: open the post from your Dashboard. Flagged phrases are listed with a suggestion. Edit the wording and save, or leave it for the moderator if it's a legitimate job requirement (for example a legal minimum age). You'll get an email when a moderator clears or removes it.
A post also isn't live until its checkout is complete (see Payments, receipts and refunds).
