Officers
Muting, blocking and reporting employers
Open Employers & privacy (also linked from every application page).
- Mute: no email notifications from that employer. Messages still wait for you on the site.
- Block: the employer can't message you, propose interview times, invite you, save you to a talent pool or find you in officer search. They aren't told.
- Report: spam, harassment, scams or unlawful questions go to our team. You can block at the same time.
What employers see. Only what you chose to share on an application. Event RSVPs show as a count unless you tick "share my name". Ride-along and info-session requests share only the boxes you tick; nothing is pre-ticked.
Response score. Each employer's job page shows how quickly it answers applicants on the site ("Usually responds within N days"). New employers show "not enough data yet".
Screening questions. Employers can ask only yes/no, job-related questions; we block questions about protected characteristics. An answer that doesn't match a requirement never stops your application from being delivered.
