New Recruits: applying with no police experience

New Recruits lists entry-level, academy and trainee jobs from verified law enforcement agencies. Detention and corrections agencies are included. These jobs are open to people with no police experience.

• Free account: create one with your name, email and a password, then confirm your email. There's no badge or ID verification.
• Two-step login is recommended but not required. Your account holds your applications and resume, but you haven't uploaded ID documents, so the extra step is optional. Turn it on under Two-step login.
• What the agency sees: your name, email, your state if you added it, and whatever you add to the application (phone, a short note, an optional resume). Withdrawing deletes the agency's copy on this site.
• What you can't use: officer-only jobs, officer search and other officer features are for verified officers. Once you're sworn in, create an officer account.
• Fair hiring: applications here never ask about arrests or convictions. Each agency runs its own legal background process.
