Deleting your account

Go to Account → Delete account, enter your password (and your 2FA code if it's on) and confirm.

What's deleted at once: your account and profile; for officers, your verification records and documents, your career profile and default resume, all your applications (including resumes and messages), your application tracker (entries, follow-up dates and private notes), your mock interviews, your agency reviews, pay reports, hiring-time reports and job alerts (including alerts saved without an account for the same email address); for employers and agencies, your posts, the applicants' stages, notes and messages, your rejection templates, your agency profile (with its responses to reviews, step plan, benefits and hiring process), images, verification data and payment records on our site; and your support tickets (including screenshots) and error records linked to your account.

Agencies: what officers wrote about your agency stays. Reviews, pay reports and hiring-time reports are officers' contributions about the agency, not the agency account's data. When an agency account is deleted they're detached from the account and kept on the agency's public record, which then shows as an Unclaimed profile (see Agency directory). Your own public responses to reviews are deleted with your account. A verified agency account can claim the record again later.

What stays for a while: entries in our security audit log expire on their schedule, emails already sent can't be unsent, and Stripe keeps its own payment records. See the Privacy Policy.

Team accounts: a team member deleting their login removes only that login; the organization's posts, applicants and notes stay with the organization. When an owner deletes the organization's account, every team member login is deleted too, along with the company page, its photos, upgrades and analytics. See Team accounts.

Officers: deleting your account also removes your officer-search settings, the list of employers who saw your card, your blocks and the invites you received.

The only admin on the site can't delete their account until another admin exists.
