Avoiding job scams

Real employers never: - charge an application, training, background-check, uniform or equipment fee; - ask you to buy or pay with gift cards or cryptocurrency, or to deposit a check and send money back; - move you to Telegram, WhatsApp, Zelle, Cash App or similar to "finish hiring"; - ask for your SSN or bank details before an offer (those come with onboarding forms after you're hired); - offer pay far above the market for the role ("$90/hr, no experience").
