Install SecondWatch Careers on your phone

You can install SecondWatch Careers on your phone or tablet. It opens in its own window (no browser chrome) and keeps the look of the Midnight Signal theme.

Android (Chrome and most browsers)

  1. Open the site while signed in as an officer.
  2. If you see Install SecondWatch, tap Install.
  3. Or use the browser menu → Install app / Add to Home screen.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open the site in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. The name SecondWatch and the app icon (Monoline 2) should appear.

What works offline

The app shell (styles, logo, and a short offline page) can load without a network. Live jobs, applying, your account, verification, and mock interviews need a connection and are never stored offline.

Push notifications

Push alerts are not on yet. When Sam turns them on, you will opt in from the app and we will never use Google FCM signup from this codebase without a separate go-ahead. See the help note below and docs/PWA-PUSH.md for operators.

Privacy

Installing the app does not give us new account data. The service worker caches only public shell files. Signed-in pages send Cache-Control: no-store and are excluded from the cache list.
